Covenant People

LET ME START OUT this section in God's Holy Tribal Nation series by saying that true community, the true EKKLESIA, is impossible unless the believers are AUTHENTIC. What I mean by this is that we must be genuinely identified with Christ, have our own personal relationship with Him, and are at the same time voluntarily part of the community. Each member must be authentically born-again and be cleansed by the blood of Jesus, like Jesus says in John 3:3, “...I say into thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.” Then Jesus says in verse 5, “...except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God.”

Regeneration

I HAVE OTHER WRITINGS on this subject, so I’ll just point out that “regeneration” is a real “re-creating” and “transformation” of the person by God, the Holy Spirit. (See Jn. 3:6; Titus 3:5). Regeneration is “activated by the shed blood of Jesus Christ, scripturally speaking, [and] sets forth the sacrificial death of the Christ on the cross or that which procures the believers redemption, i.e., the release from the bondage and slavery of sin.” (See Eph. 1:7; Heb. 9:14).

New Identity

WHEN WE TRULY ENTER God’s Kingdom, we automatically become members of a new society, the universal Body of Christ. We become “members one of another” (Eph. 4:23-25).

Covenant People

I’VE ALREADY TOUCHED ON this, but let me hit on a few things more. Covenant-breakers “suppress the truth in unrighteousness” (see Rom. 1:18). There are many covenant-breakers claiming to be God’s people today. To have such unregenerated people in God’s Holy Tribal Nation is stupid! Why? Because a true covenant people loves God’s righteousness, not hates it (cf. Rom. 1:24-32). Covenant people and covenant-breakers don’t mix. Therefore, dear readers, there will always be WAR between God’s covenant people and covenant-breakers—false brethren and pagans.

To My Point

 THE FOLLOWING IS A sickening blasphemous statement made by John Taylor, yeoman from Guilford in Surrey, England, 1675:

“Christ is a whore-master, and religion [Christianity] is a cheat, and profession [of Christianity] is a joke, and they are both cheats, and all the earth is mine, and I am a King’s son, my father sent me hither, and made me a fisherman to take vipers, and I neither fear God, devil, nor man, and I am a younger brother to Christ, an angel of God and no man fears God but an hypocrite. Christ is a bastard, god damn and confound all your gods, Christ is the whore’s master.”

     Friends, this kind of thinking and speaking is frightfully common these days. These were the direct vile words of a backslid man, a covenant-breaker [from Journals of the House of Lords, XII, cited in Leonard W. Levy, Treason Against God (NY: Schocken, 1981), pp. 312-314].

Now Hear This

EBERHARD ARNOLD WROTE THE following in Foundation and Orders:

“We recognize the following as clear signs that healing is taking place: joy in humble service and in working together with others; freedom from self-willed plans, from lust for power over others; truthfulness in judging our self; and above all, faithfulness and endurance on the way we have recognized before God.” (Arnold was “a free thinker from Germany who later became involved with the brotherhood of the Hutterites.” Arnold died in 1935.)

     I fully agree with his evaluation of what a covenant people should be like. As already stated, it is the blood of Jesus that washes away our sins AFTER confession of the same and genuine repentance (a change of mind that leads to turning away from sin). This places one inside the universal Body of Christ. Now, if one wants to join a community of Christians, some communities have what they call a time of “novitiate”, meaning a time when a person can fully participate in the life of the community before making a voluntary final commitment, in order that a more “intelligent and voluntary decision can be made concerning commitment”.

Biblical State Covenant

RAY R. SUTTON WRITES the following in his book, That You May Prosper: Dominion By Covenant—

“How should the legislation of a [worldly] state reflect the requirements of the Bible? How is the state to serve as God’s covenantal representative? Can it do so, and also serve as the covenantal representative of Satan?”

     Good questions. Americans have grappled with these for years, since so many claim that America is a modern Christian nation. America...Christian? Forgive me, I DO NOT BELIEVE THIS! America is not Christian and never has been fully Christian. Now she is much, much more satanic than godly.

     Americans just need to let go of their worldly patriotism and join the ranks of God’s Holy Tribal Nation that is called to take DOMINION across the globe!

Revolution-Resurgence

I’VE BEEN SAYING THAT what we need today is a REVOLUTION—not with carnal weapons, but with covenant-minded (true) Christians who WAR IN THE SPIRIT to overthrow the existing “religious” government that REEKS with SIN AND SINNERS. But how, may I ask, can we expect the world to find the light and walk in that light (of Christ Jesus) if God’s professed people are full of the world themselves?

     I’m speaking of covenant-minded Christians, not mere churchgoers. The Biblical covenant, which calls for a REVOLUTION-RESURGENCE, is the model to inform the Church how to return to its original Christian mandate of DISCIPLING the NATIONS (see Matt. 28;19). We must all see and agree on this REVOLUTIONARY WAY. One minister asked, “How can a ‘nation’ be discipled if there is confusion over the ‘master plan’?”

How Do We Do It?

THERE ARE MANY WAYS. To start with, read the whole book of Acts. D.T. Niles puts it this way:

“In the work of the Holy Spirit, then, there is a quality not only of comprehension [of people accepting God’s Word] but also of selection [God chooses vessels for certain things—e.g., God called Abraham and a particular people, the Jews, to make known His universal will], not only of wideness but also of narrowness—a contradictoriness [where things seem opposite] which ought to be no surprise for anyone whose faith is grounded in the Bible. For, as the Bible makes plain, the work of God is always characterized by universality of INTENTION as well as particularity of METHOD“ [The Work of the Holy Spirit in the World (Nashville: Abingdon, 1967), p. 100].

     So we must follow the Spirit as He works out His will—both in its universal scope, and also in its specifics, as He so leads.

     God’s Body of covenant people, His Holy Tribal Nation, is to “GO into ALL the world and MAKE DISCIPLES”, not just build and attend churches. The Holy Tribal Nation should never limit recruits or believers on the basis of race, class, or any other common discriminating criteria. So-called Christians or Christian groups who do are definitely NOT even part of God’s TRUE Holy Tribal Nation.

Rotten Roots

I FEEL THAT ENGLISH and American societies were, I said WERE extremely self-conscious about the Biblical concept of a covenant. Our roots were rooted in the Deuteronomic covenant (see The Mayflower Compact of 1620). As for today, our Christian roots are ROTTEN! Our society has gone a whoring after other gods. So, dear readers, either we wage the war for souls NOW or we have the blood of millions upon us (that includes millions of unborn babies, slaughtered in abortion clinics!).

     The Lion and Lamb’s WAR is the divine work of reconciliation (read 2 Cor. 5:18-20). Reconciliation started on the cross and will not be fully finished until Jesus’ second coming. Until this happens, we, His Holy Tribal Nation, must work and war and win as many lost souls as we can. Amen.
