Dear Generals Jim and Deborah,

I was watching a prominent TV talk show host last week and saw where he had some people come to your place. I must say I thought it was very rude and dis-respectable as to what they did.

I just wanted to let you know that my son's family had nothing to do with that.

We didn't even know anything about it until it was on TV. I thought the whole thing was ridiculous. I don't blame you guys for telling them to leave. They were totally out of line and dis-respectful.

I know my son and his wife live there and we are okay with that. They could be in a lot worse places. As I have gotten older, and I hope wiser, I have come to realize that you have to let your children live their own lives even if you don't always agree. I believe that so long as my children are healthy and happy than I too will be happy for them.

Please let my son and his wife know that we are sorry about what happened and that we did not have anything to do with it.
