Our Nuclear Generation General James Green S EEMS LIKE the whole world is talking about this, I mean the impeding nuclear war…from religious leaders, to political leaders, to the common man on the street. Many believe that a nuclear holocaust is in God’s (Yahweh’s) plan to cleanse this evil earth of defilement. I’ve watched and waited ever since I’ve been a Christian (1971- ), for these events preached and prophesied about to come to pass. There have been dozens of “prophets” or “date setters” who swore upon the Bible that their date would usher in the Great Tribulation, rapture, nuclear war etc...but we still wait. Am I anxious for any of these events to transpire? No! I don’t teach on them very much, but I do believe that time is ripe for God’s severe judgments to befall mankind.
All Eyes On Israel THIS IS A HEADLINE in a recent book that was sent to me. The author is a Jew, but he refutes the “fairy tale” pre-trib rapture (as I do!), and he also refutes much of the present hype on nuclear war, rebuilding the Jewish Temple, the 1945 Zionism movement, and much more. Forgive me, I am not a Bible expert, nor a doomsday prophet. However, I do believe that much of this “Bible prophecy” is misguided interpretation rather than true Spirit Prophecy. But, I do believe in the second coming of Jesus with His Holy Heavenly Army.
End-Time Delusions THE CHURCH is not the only one guilty of this, but other religions have their prophecies and prophets as well. The Muslims at present await their messiah to come to bring about a global conversion to Islam. THE MEDIA MARKET IS LITERALLY GLUTTED WITH THIS STUFF. Speculative theories abound everywhere. One could get a bad case of nerves if one was to believe all that is out there. Growing Awareness THE GROWING awareness of Bible prophecy is good in one sense; it gets people thinking. However, it’s bad if the teachers, preachers, or prophets use this for personal gain ($$) and popularity, which seems to be the case too often. I remember in the 1980's there was a large movement under the banner of Evangelical Peacemakers and other groups. With the potential threat of nuclear war between America and Russia, the whole world became aware of just how devastating a nuclear war could be. Symposiums, lectures on campuses, preparedness in the military etc., etc., all centered around the legitimacy of FORCE (from both sides) and the complexities of disarmament. The world became aware of the horrific realities of contemporary nuclear arsenals, opposed to the hunger and starving of millions, while Billions of $$ went into the aforementioned.
Pacifist-Non-Pacifist THESE OPPOSING groups took to the streets, air waves, churches, political arena, and expressed their ideas, belief, and fears. Both the indiscriminate use of conventional weapons and the all-out use of indiscriminate weapons (like chemical/biological as well as atomic/nuclear) were discussed. The principles of “Just War” and “war for profit” were included. Conviction and compassion pitted against fear; oppression and control raged throughout the years.
Things Died Down THINGS BETWEEN America (Christian) and Russia (Communist) died down. But today we are seeing a grounds/well of opposition again over the nuclear issue. North Korea and the militant Islamics are rising with a new threat to world peace/destruction. Weapons of mass destruction (WMD) took center stage during the first Iraqi war, and now nuclear war is presently being debated and feared once again. There are nations that have these weapons, but I personally believe that the militant Muslims would use them before anyone else. Why do I say this? Because THEY HAVE A COMMAND IN THEIR QURAN TO USE FORCE AGAINST ALL THEIR ENEMIES; this promises them instant paradise. It is their religion, dear readers. If one listens to Iran’s Prez, one will quickly see how and why they will use nuclear weapons. Of course, God is still in control of this world. He allows or withholds evils at will.
Islamic Terrorism I DON’T HAVE to say much about this, do I? You can see it on your T.V., and read about it in your papers/magazines. The press many times uses other words like “perpetrators, rebels, captors, assailants, activists and revolutionaries,” rather than TERRORISTS! There is no doubt in my mind that Islamic Terrorism is, and shall be, the most destructive force out there to deal with—as the U.S. is finding out the hard way! America’s roots are Christian, so she has a hard time realizing and comprehending the Islamic mind. I have no problem at all with this, as I’ve read their book and the Hadiths: ISLAM IS A RELIGION OF THE SWORD, PURE AND SIMPLE.
The BOMB or the Book? IF ANYONE doubts what I write, do your own study. I’ve done my homework. The more aggressive jihadists want to “nuke” the U.S. and our allies; others, less militant but equally religious, are carrying out their Quranic command by the pen. Some feel that “nuking” certain cities in America will make America give in and embrace Islam. Others don’t think this will happen, so they invade our schools, colleges, politics, and churches with their false teachings (false compared to our Christian beliefs; true according to their holy book). Influential Muslims write and make speeches about the good of Islam: deceiving the hearers and hiding their real agenda, converting the WHOLE USA!
Ugly Truths JOEL HILLIKER, writing in The Philadelphia Trumpet (TPT) (Dec. 2004), quotes Sayyid Qutb, who was a leading thinker behind the Egyptian Muslims Brotherhood (he wrote about his desire to establish an Islamic HQ for Islam globally). He is quoted as saying “...which is then to be carried throughout the Earth to the whole of mankind, as the object of this religion is all humanity and its sphere of action is the whole Earth.” Note his words, “whole of mankind,” “all humanity,” “the whole Earth.” This leaves every other religion and political government without any belief. Is this what you pro-Islam fools really want? Qutb’s RADICAL (not really, for the Quran commands this!) statement gave rise to many other radical groups. They don’t mention how this will be done, but we assume they will find the right avenue/median to do it, or at least try to.
Remember Japan! EVER SINCE the U.S. dropped the Atomic bomb on Hiroshima, an irreversible possibility (even an evil lust!) of global destruction has become the daily backdrop of our world. Since that dark day in history, both religious and secular minds have been concerned with this reality (?). There is no doubt that the stock-pile of conventional and WMD are a concern—a real concern to humanity. With all the madness and hatred “out there,” ONE CAN IMAGINE WHAT COULD HAPPEN IF THE WRONG PERSON OR PERSONS PUSHED THE RED BUTTON. Who could live in the poisoned ruins of a “nuked” civilization? This would be suicide, yes, and Muslims do this as I write. What if they used small nukes strapped to their bodies?
What If? WHAT IF GOD allowed this? He just might, dear readers, for mankind is exceedingly wicked. His church is backslid as HELL! Judgment is inevitable if the world does not change her ways. Looking over the history of mankind, the Bible gives us plenty of history lessons; there is little room for optimism. The present intensity of man’s sins, if continued, will inevitably lead to a global conflagration; this we can count on. A global catastrophe is possible!!
What Are You Doing? I KNOW what we here at ACMTC are doing: we are busy every day, 7 days a week, bearing witness of God’s Biblical and Prophetic Truths. We are “out there.” Islam spread its religion by an “offensive war,” this cannot be denied, although the less militant ones do deny it; however, they KNOW that their book demands and commands war against all non-Muslims. As already pointed out in some of my writings, Muhammad claims that Allah commanded him to “FIGHT THE PEOPLE OF THE BOOK” (Christians/Jews) and other pagans until they become Muslims and carry out the ordinances of Islam. ALL, ALL Muslim scholars without exception agree on this. Bukhari (vol. 1. p. 13) wrote, “I have been ORDERED by Allah to fight with people till they bear testimony to the fact that there is no God but Allah and that Muhammad is his messenger, and that they establish prayer and pay (zakat) money. If they do it, their blood and their property are safe from me.” Isn’t that nice of Muhammad? He threatens lives to get converts, they convert, he makes them pay $$, then he will allow them to keep their lives and property—but then they are Muslims so all their property is in the hands of Islam. This is real Islam. Can you imagine Jesus, our Prophet, doing this?
The Pen ISLAMIC SCHOLARS, if honest, write about Muhammad’s life as a WARRIOR. Note the following quote from Dr. Zaki Badowi (moderate former director of London’s Islamic Culture Center), said Islam, “hopes that one day the WHOLE of humanity will be ONE Muslim community.” Now, Christians, do you ever teach, preach, or write about the WHOLE world becoming Christian?
Dr. Muhammad Sa’id Ramadan al-Buti I’LL USE HIS last name, Buti. Buti wrote a book called “Jurisprudence in Muhammad’s Biography,” in which he states: “The Holy War, as it is known in Islamic Jurisprudence, is basically an OFFENSIVE WAR. This is the DUTY of Muslims in EVERY AGE when the needed military power becomes available to them. This is the phase in which the meaning of Holy War has taken its final form. Thus, the apostle of God said: ‘I was commanded to fight the people until they believe in God (Allah) and his message...’” (7th edition, p. 134). So, dear deceived Americans, church folks, and politicians, Dr. Buti tells us that Islam is an “OFFENSIVE WAR,” not a “defensive” one, and it is a matter of duty incumbent to EVERY Muslim in every age.
Chilling Words “WHEN NEEDED, military power becomes available.” Could we be living in that time NOW? Is the NUCLEAR bomb or missile the means to get the world to bow to Allah?
“Our Plan…” OH, YES, they have a plan. While you lazy church folks play “church,” Muslims are planning to invade, indoctrinate, and dominate the West—by bomb or book! One Muslim missionary said, “OUR PLAN IS, WE ARE GOING TO CONQUER AMERICA.” This is not coming from an extremist, but from a mainstream Muslim group. They are all over this country as I write. We get so many letters from jails and prisons, all saying the same thing, “Islam dominates everything.” Christians fight to survive inside these places.
Ultimate Goal THEY MAKE no empty threat, as one Muslim wrote, “The ultimate goal is to apply the Islamic law (the sharia) globally.” Their ruthless and cruel Sharia Law intends to replace the US Constitution—replace our Bible with their unholy book, the Quran. In simple terms, Islam gives the “invitation” (call to embrace Islam), and it warns of “war” if it is refused! ARE YOU READY FOR WAR? In Daniel Pipes’ book Militant Islam Reaches America, he quotes an influential commentator named Siddiqi. Siddiqi argues that “Muslims taking control of the US has more importance than such goals as sustaining the Iranian revolution, and as destroying Israel, for it has great impact on the future of Islam.” There you have it, dear “let us embrace Islam”(-ites); they want to do entirely away with American life WHOLLY and TOTALLY!! They want to, first off, destroy Christianity, then use America’s success and materialism to produce a “superb ideology” as Hilliker calls it in TPT.
Back To The Bomb IT HAS BEEN circulating for years now that suitcase “nukes” have been smuggled into the U.S.—along with chemical/biological weapons. To add this to that, the possibility of hijacking nuclear weapons is fearfully possible in itself. What if the “conservative” Muslims are overpowered by the “radical” Muslims, and they decide that the pen is not doing its job fast enough? In this case, the targeted countries must produce a “balance of terror.” We’re not looking at two superpowers flexing their military might; we are looking at unconventional all-out warfare where multilateral disarmament is impossible. But if we’re dealing just with say America vs. Iran [nowadays, Iraq], Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD) would be the game.
Elements Destroyed SECOND PETER 3:10, 11, and 12, is taken by many to speak of nuclear war: “But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat” (NIV). Words like “elements will be destroyed by fire,” “earth...laid bare,” “everything will be destroyed in this way,” and “destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat,” all depict a holocaust, they say.
Nuclear War Brings Peace? VERSE 13 plainly tells us that after the above, and ONLY AFTER, then can men look for a new earth and home of righteousness. This tells me that PEACE will never come between nations (in a lasting way), until after the Day of the Lord. So, all this “peace” stuff men try is nothing better than building another tower of Babel. TRUE PEACE IN AND ON EARTH TODAY CAN ONLY COME ABOUT BY JESUS CHRIST, and by men living and abiding in Him, for He is the Prince of peace; we are to be His “peacemakers.” The cross and the cross ALONE can bring peace in an unpeaceful world. But how many work at this? Very few. Most want the world to back them up with peacekeeping. This is mixing Spirit and flesh. Unlike the Islamic faith, Christianity is the way of love for one’s enemies. Muhammad was the prophet of war; Christ of peace (see Isa. 9:6, 7). Muhammad’s disciples killed for their faith; Christ’s disciples were killed for their faith. Muhammad promoted persecution against the infidels; Christ forgave his persecutors. Muhammad took life; Christ gave life (Jn. 10:27, 28). Muhammad murdered thousands; Christ murdered not ONE, but came to save (Jn. 12:48). Muhammad’s method was compulsion; Christ’s aim was, and still is, voluntary conversion (see Acts 3:19). Muhammad practiced force; Christ, faith (Jn. 6:29, 35). Muhammad used the steel sword; Christ, the sword of the Spirit (Heb. 4:12; Acts 2:37). Muhammad shouted, “convert or die!”; Christ, “Believe and live!” (Jn. 6:47; 11:25, 26). The list is long, dear readers. WHICH IS THE BETTER RELIGION, ISLAM OR CHRISTIANITY? K I l l T h e m ! DR. BUTI, in his book (already mentioned), on page 263, states the following: “The apostle of God started to send military detachments from among his followers to the various Arab tribes which were scattered in the Arab Peninsula to carry out the task of calling (these tribes) to accept Islam. If they did not respond, they would kill them. That was during the 7th Higisa year. The number of the detachments amounted to ten.” There you have “real” Islam: convert or die! Abu Bakr As Saddiq followed up with the same kind of warfare as did the apostle after his death...and so the war goes on. Dr. Buti, in the 6th cpt. of his book, quotes Muhammad and PROVES to all of us that ISLAM WAS AND IS AN “OFFENSIVE” WAR TO SPREAD ISLAM. “From now on, they will not invade you, but you will invade them.” In “The Biography of the Prophet” (see page 113, part 3) Ibn Hishom writes: “Ali Ibn Abi Talib encountered a man called ‘Umru and told him, ‘I indeed invite you to Islam!’ Umru said, ‘I do not need that’. ‘Ali said, ‘Then I call you to fight’.” Sound familiar? There are other books that relate this same principle—CONVERT OR DIE! In closing this article, I want to quote Dr. Buti once again in his book (pp 323, 324) The Jurisprudence of the Biography, he writes: “The verse (Surah 9:5 which we’ve already discussed) does not leave room in the mind to conjecture about what is called defensive war. This verse asserts that Holy war which is demanded in Islamic law is NOT DEFENSIVE war (as the western students of Islam would like us to believe), because it could legitimately be an OFFENSIVE war. That is the apex and most honorable of all Holy Wars.” Thank you, Dr. Buti, for telling the REAL truth about Islam. You need to reiterate this to all these “peaceful and loving” Muslim scholars and students over here in America; they teach us that Islam was and is a defensive war. In my little booklet called Offensive War to Spread Islam, more authors are given with their quotes, all supporting the “Offensive War.”
