The Blood of the Sword; The Blood of the CROSS

I N THIS WRITING I will compare Christianity’s Prophet—Jesus, with Islam’s prophet— Muhammad. First let me state what the Qur’an says about Jesus the Christ:

Miraculous Conception

Q66:12 says: “And Mary, daughter of ‘Imran, whose body was chaste, therefore We breathed therein something of Our Spirit. And she put faith in the words of her Lord and His Scriptures, and was of the obedient” (Surat al-Tahrim [Banning]).

A. Yusuf Ali’s Qur’an Commentary (1934) states: “As a virgin she (Mary) gave birth to Jesus…the virgin birth should not therefore be supposed to imply that God was the father of Jesus in the sense in which Greek Mythology makes Zeus the father of Apollo by Latona or of Minos by Europa. And yet that is the doctrine to which the Christian idea of ‘the only begotten Son of God’ leads.”

Some go so far as to say that God had physical sex with Mary! The Holy Bible gives the correct account in Matt. 1:18-25. Mary was overshadowed by the Holy Ghost (Spirit) “…for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost” (v. 20). Both Matthew and Luke agree unequivocally that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit (v. 18 and 20; Lk. 1:34-35). The prediction of this miracle was told by the Prophet Isaiah (7:14), this prophecy was stated 700 years before Christ (note: there is a debate over the Hebrew word for virgin [almah]. Some translations use a word that indicates a “young woman,” not a “virgin”).

    

Surat Maryam (Mary)

Q19:19-21 READS: “He said: I am only a messenger of Thy Lord, that I may bestow on thee a faultless Son” (note that word FAULTLESS, that means Jesus was not born as other men, in sin, and He would not commit sin. Note also that Muhammad was merely born of Aminah, Abd Allah was his father, born in Mecca A.D. 570. Both parents had a sin nature, this in turn gave Muhammad a SIN nature…he confesses more than once that he was a SINNER in need of forgiveness. And we’re to believe that Muhammad took Jesus’ place as the Last Day Prophet?? (Give us a break here!!)

Let me finish what the Qur’an mentions about the conversation between the Virgin and the angel: “…She said: How can I have a son when no mortal hath touched me, neither have I been unchaste? He said: So (it will be). Thy Lord saith: It is easy for Me and (it will be) that We may make of him a revelation for mankind and a mercy for us, and it is a thing ordained.”

One of Islam’s famous scholars, Al Baidawi writes: “That distinction sets Christ apart from other humans and messengers because He was born without any human embrace or relationship.”

Baidawi should have honestly stated that Jesus, not Muhammad was the world’s messenger for All Time!

If what Baidawi said isn’t good and clear, listen to Al Fakhr el Razi’s comment: “I bestow on thee a faultless boy,” meaning Christ was WITHOUT SIN and COMMITTED NO SIN, unlike the liar, murderer, rapist, thief, pedophile, and warmonger Muhammad.

Razi continues with: “Mankind will be blessed by the manifestation of these signs for they will be overwhelming indications of His truthfulness and will make the acceptance of His Word more likely” (see “The Person of Christ; The Good Way,” p. 8).

May I ask you Muslims WHY do you not believe Jesus’ Words? Jesus says in John 14:6: “…I am the way, the truth, and the life: no many cometh unto the Father, but BY ME.” Jesus never hints at “another” taking His place (Muhammad); but He does mention the “Comforter,”—the “Spirit of Truth” that He would send to mankind after He ascended back into Heaven (Jn. 14:16-21).

And why don’t you believe His Words: “I AM the truth vine, and My Father is the husbandmen. Every branch in Me that beareth not fruit He taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it that it may bring forth more fruit…Abide in Me, and I in you…without Me ye can do nothing…” (Jn. 15:2-6). Tell me how Muhammad can abide in us?

And what about Jesus’ Words, “I am Alpha and Omega, the FIRST and the LAST…” (Rev. 1:11)? Jesus continues: “I am He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am ALIVE FOR EVERMORE…” (v. 18). Is your prophet alive today? NO! But Christ Jesus is. Again, Jesus says: “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last” (22:13). Since He IS the first and the last, Muhammad is a BIG FRAUD!

What Muhammad did was pervert Scriptures: adding and taking away. Don’t forget that our Bible was before the prophet, the Qur’an, and the Hadiths.

Muhammad has to outdo Jesus, the Old Testament prophets, and the New Testament authors. He MADE himself the last days prophet. Q 25:6 states: “The (Qur’an) was sent down by Him who knows the Mystery (that is) in the heavens and the earth…” Here we have Muhammad claiming that the Qur’an, not the Holy Bible, contains all the mysteries for man. Y. Ali comments on this text (p. 927, note 3059): “…the Quran teaches spiritual knowledge of what is ordinarily hidden from man’s sight. Such knowledge can only come from God.”THE BIBLE has the revelations from God already, dear Muslims. We don’t need Muhammad’s comments and distortions. THANK YOU! Lest you Muslims forget, your prophet has said that if Muslims need to know anything, seek out the People of the Book (Christians and Jews). Jesus was, and is, ALL knowledge, Muhammad was not! Q43:57 and 61 are references to Jesus’ knowledge:

“And when the son of Mary is quoted as an example, behold! the folk laugh out…And lo! verily there is knowledge of the hour. So doubt ye not concerning it, but follow Me. This is the right path.” Ali believes verse 61 to mean the second coming of Christ (What? not Muhammad??) Until His coming, the Qur’an points out that we should FOLLOW Jesus, the right path.

Al Jolalan explains “a knowledge of the hour” as meaning that Christ knew when the Day of Judgment would come (see Abd Al-Fadi’s, “The Person of Christ,” p. 15).

“Some Islamic scholars link infallibility of message with infallibility of conduct, but the Qur’an contradicts this idea. Many verses in the Quran make clear that the Prophets were not without blame before or after giving their messages. But the Quran claims Christ’s life as infallible as His message” (Dr. A. A. Shorrosh, “Islam Revealed,” p. 89).

The Qur’an also affirms that Jesus was empowered by, and endowed with, the Holy Spirit (see Surat al-Baqarah [The Cow] 2:253 and Surat al-Nisa [Women] 4:171).

Some Muslim scholars believe that the Holy Spirit is Gabriel. Others believe that the Holy Spirit is the supreme name for Allah—Ibn Abbas exclaimed: “As it was the spirit which was breathed into Him and the Holy One is Allah so He is the Spirit of Allah” (see Al-Fadi, pp. 11, 12).

What do our Scriptures say? “And Jesus, being FULL of the Holy Ghost (or Spirit) returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness” (Lk. 4:1). I need to note here that the Holy Spirit was present at Jesus’ birth (Matt. 1:18, 23; Lk. 1:27); at Jesus’ baptism (Lk. 3:16; Matt. 3:16, 17); at Jesus’ temptation (Lk. 4:1-14); in Jesus’ ministry (Lk. 4:16-19); at His death (Lk. 23:44-46); at His resurrection (it was the Power of the Holy Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead, Lk. 24:6, 7; see also Rom. 1:3, 4 that thru the Spirit of holiness (i.e. Holy Spirit) Jesus was declared with power to be the Son of God, and in Rom. 8:11, that “the Spirit…raised up Jesus from the dead.” Therefore, we who are Christians will also be raised from the dead (Rom. 8:10, 11); the Holy Spirit was present at Jesus’ ascension into Heaven, sitting down at the Father’s right hand (Mark 16:19; Luke 24:51; Acts 1:9-11; Eph. 4:8-10: this same Holy Spirit was sent unto the believers at Pentecost (see Acts 2:33; Jn. 16:5-14).

This same Holy Spirit is in the Believers (see Rom. 8:14-16; Gal. 4:6. Most importantly is Jesus’ nearness to us (Jn. 14:18; 4:23, 24; 16:14 etc). And at Jesus’ return, the Holy Spirit will be present (see Jn. 14:3; 1 Thes. 4:13-18; Titus 2:13; 2 Tim. 4:8. At the very close of the Bible—Revelations 22:20—we see the words: “Come, Lord Jesus.”

The Qur’an testifies without apology that Jesus IS the Word of God (see Surat al-Nisa 4:171).

Q3:39 (The Family of Imran) says: “Allah giveth thee glad tidings of (a son whose name is) John, (who cometh) to confirm a word from Allah, loudly, chaste, a Prophet of the righteous.” This is referring to the (coming) birth of Jesus (see Matt. 1:18-25). Verse 21 states: “And she (Mary) shall bring forth a Son, and thou shalt call His name Jesus (Isa in Arabic): for He shall SAVE His people from their sins.” Not only the “lost” Jews, but any and all who will believe on Him and receive Him (Jn. 3:16, 17—this includes the “lost” Muslims too!).

Muslim scholar Al Sheikh Muhyi Al Din Al Arabi tells us about Q 3:39, 45 “The Word is Allah in theophany…and is the one divine person, not any other.” On page 13 of his book, pt. 2, Fusus al Hugm, claims that the “Word” is a “divine person.” We can conclude that what he wrote, and what Scripture declares in Jn. 1:1, 14, that: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God…And the Word became flesh” (write for my 2 magazines: 1. “Is Jesus God?” [50 pages]; 2. “The Deity of Jesus” [50 pages]. I put these together to refute Islam’s claim that Jesus is not Divine).

 

Back to my Title:

THE BLOOD OF THE SWORD; The Blood of the Cross. What I’m endeavoring to do is to present the Christian’s Prophet alongside the Muslim’s prophet; Christ Jesus GAVE His life for the redemption of humankind:

“How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the Living God?” (Heb. 9:14).

“But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin” (1 Jn. 1:7).

“Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain lifestyle received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot” (1 Pet. 1:18, 19).

“Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over which the Holy Spirit hath made your overseers, to geed the Ekklesia of God, which He (Jesus) hath purchased with His own blood” (Acts 20:28).

“And, having made peace (not war!) through the blood of His Cross, by Him to reconcile all things unto Himself…” (Col. 1:20).

“In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace” (Eph. 1:7).

This is quite different from what Muhammad offered.

First, what does Islam offer for the salvation of our soul? In my last writing I quoted Q 9:111: “God (Allah) hath purchased of the Believers (Muslims) their persons and their goods; for theirs (in return) is the Garden (of Paradise): they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain: A promise binding on Him in truth, through the Law, the Gospel, and the Qur’an. And who is more faithful to His covenant than God (Allah)? They rejoice in the bargain which ye have concluded: that is the achievement supreme.”

So, dear Muslims, you get salvation by killing (murdering), and being slain, for the cause of Allah (not God as we Christians know Him)! Ali, in his footnote 1361, tells us that: “man fights in Allah’s cause and carries out his will, the Universal Will…he gains eternal salvation, the fulfillment of his highest spiritual hopes…” You poor duped Muslims may believe this, but we DO NOT!

If we’re talking about the “Law” (Torah=5 books of the Old Testament), God did have His people to fight when necessary, but there were rules to follow. Nowhere do we find that this shedding of blood earned God’s people salvation. And the “Gospel” is totally absent of such a thing—we’re only instructed to “fight the good fight of faith” (1 Tim. 6:12), “lay hold on eternal life” by repenting of our sins...not murdering non-Christians!! (see Eph. 6 also). This “Holy Jihad” is made up by Muslims. They will go to Hell for MURDER as Rev. 22:15 tells us. And there IS a difference between “killing” and “murder.” The King James version should have used the correct word—“murder”—not the word “kill” in Exodus 20:13.

 

COMPARE:

Jesus waged NO WAR; Muhammad waged war: he led 66 battles.

Jesus ordered the death of no one; Muhammad ordered the death of many (the first was a poetess).

Jesus established a religion of mercy, love, and forgiveness—even for enemies; Muhammad established a religion of NO MERCY, LOVE, OR FORGIVENESS—his was of shedding the blood of enemies.

Jesus established a spiritual kingdom; Muhammad established an earthly empire by spreading Islam with the sword and stealing other’s lands and goods;

Jesus died at 33 by crucifixion—shedding His very own blood—for the redemption of the world; Muhammad died due to the effects of pneumonia at 62.

Jesus’ tomb is empty—He arose from the dead; Muhammad’s tomb is filled with rot…his carcass remains in his grave AWAITING THE DAY OF JUDGMENT where he will receive his reward: the lake of fire!

Old Testament predictions are found about Jesus’ coming; NO Scripture predicted Muhammad’s birth.

Did you know that the Qur’an mentions Jesus 97 times?; Muhammad’s name is not found in our Bible once, and is only found a mere 25 times in the Qur’an.

 

To Murder or To Kill?

HERE I WANT to examine these two words, since our New Testament never mentions the killing/murdering of our enemies, as does the Qur’an. Let’s look into both the Holy Bible, and the Unholy Quran/Hadiths.

Let me start with Acts 21:38 where we read about the apostle Paul’s defense before an angry crowd:

“Art not thou that Egyptian, which before these days madest an uproar, and leddest out into the wilderness four thousand men that were MURDERERS?” (Greek G4607, from sicarius, “dagger-carrier,” “assassin”). Apart from Acts 21:38, we find this word in Flavius Josephus’ writings (37-97 AD), once each in Hippolytus’ writings (160-235 AD), plus it is found in those of Origen, of Alexandria (185-254 AD), always in the plural. The Rabbis, too, speak occasionally of the σικάριος.

The “Sicarii (Sicarius) in Roman Law, denotes not only the ‘assassin’ in the narrower sense, but also more generally the violent murderer or inciter to MURDER (like what we find in Islam!); the weapon (in Muhammad’s day=the swords/daggers) proves the intent (did Jesus ever carry a dagger or sword? It was common in Jesus’ day, for Peter had one, but Jesus was not a murderer, or one even to defend Himself).

 

The Sicarii in Josephus’ Writings

JOSEPHUS ADOPTS the standpoint of Roman Law when he calls the hated freedom-fighters of the first Jewish revolt “robbers” (which Muhammad was very good at!) and “assassins” (or “murderers”—again, Muhammad and gang).

 

The Sicarii in the Rabbinic Writings

IN THE RABBINIC WRITINGS, the name “Sicarii” is used of the Zealots (see Hebrew word). It expresses the VIOLENCE in attitude and acts of the first revolt: however, there is no mention of assassination. According to Maksh1, 6, the population of Jerusalem kept fig-cakes concealed in water because of the Sicarii. According to Ekar. on 4:4 the Sicarii destroyed the conduit which supplied Jerusalem from Etam (it is possible that this was “terrorism” against Pilate who had built it with temple funds). Also, according to Ab R Nat (Abot of Rabbi Nathan—an extra-canonical Rabbinic tractate), they burned the grain stocks which a rich man of Jerusalem had stored up in the even of siege (see S. Schechter [1887], 20, 2nd version). I could go on and on with the accounts reported.

 

The New Testament Sicarii

ACCORDING TO ACTS 21:38, the tribune of Roman cohort stationed in the Antonia, suspected that the apostle Paul was the Egyptian who had 4,000 Sicarii to rebel (Josephus tells of the Egyptian in 2 accounts [see Jos. Bell/Bellum Judaicum 2, 261-263]). In Antiquities 20, 169, it speaks of the pseudo-prophet from Egypt, but the mention of 400 slain and 200 captured in Antiquities 20, 171 sounds more plausible.

So, the Sicarii are mentioned in Bell., 2, 254-257, Ant., 20, 163-165, and in Ant., 20, 185-188. Just after a description of the Sicarii (20, 185-188), there is reference to the destruction of a “goes” whose expedition bears some resemblance to that of the Egyptian; and finally, Josephus says the unarmed followers of Jonathan, who led the Jews of Cyrene into the desert were Sicarii (Bell., 7, 437-446).

 

Consider:

ACTS 23:12-15 could have been Sicarii. The plotter’s of Paul’s death bonded themselves together—just like “Islamic terrorists” do today—by a common oath. Their objective was to REMOVE (murder!) a “false” teacher and desecrator of the temple who had also been taken under protective custody today by the Gentiles.

 

The Sicarii in the Church Fathers

HIPPOLYTUS (160-235 AD, a disciple of Irenaeus) mentions the Sicarii in an account of the Essenes which he took from Josephus; he equates them with the Zealots (see Jos. Bell., 2, 119-161). It is worth noting that [according to them] men who speak of God and His laws, but will not accept circumcision, are mentioned as the VICTIMS of MURDER! Origen refers to the Sicarii in a different connection (see the “Theological Dictionary of the New Testament” Vol. 7, p. 282, note 25, where one can find several names who refer to the Sicarii.

 

To Murder!

(σϕάζω, σϕαγή=GREEK usage not under Biblical influence). Since I’ve already written on these two words (see my WAR magazine, 42 pages—free), I’ll only touch on them here.

From Heroclotus, of Halicarnassus (484-425 BC, the first real Greek historian, described as early as Cicero as the father of history), σϕάζω is used for the PROFANE slaying of a man or men. This Greek word indicates a vivid and grisly expression for MURDER—not mere killing in war. We could apply it to today’s Jihadists beheadings and multifarious acts.

There are many nuances: “gruesomeness” (see Euripides of Salomis, [480-406 BC], Andromache [Eur. Andr.], 315), “undeserved fate” (Eur. Supplices, 813), and “criminality” (Dio Carsius Cocceianus [155-235 AD], 73, 6, 4. (Note: According to Dio C.C., he thought the slaughtering of men at altars was especially HEINOUS! Why do you think the militant Muslims LOVE to attack Christian churches and Jewish Synagogues? In Africa they set them ablaze—burning all within, or murder any and all during services with automatic weapons/bombs/hatchets!) (See Eur. Andr., 260; Hec., 24 and Isocrates, of Athens (436-338 BC), 6, 67f).

It was (and is) considered a CRIME to MURDER kin according to Aeschylus of Eleusis (525-456 BC), Choephori, 904. Why do you think Muslims love to MURDER their own kind? They love criminality!

Another nuance used is “massacre,” to which we here are familiar with (having worked in many African Nations since the early 1980's—where hundreds of thousands of non-Muslims have been MASSACRED!!!). Herodotus (Hdt.) VIII, 127 speaks of this after a city has been taken.

 

Passionate Slaying

PASSIONATE SLAYING can be denoted by the Greek ἀποσϕάττω, as in Plato’s Euthyphro, 4c. σϕάττω and ἀποσϕάττω also appear in descriptions of civil wars and their ugly atrocities in Plutarchu’s De Mario (204-270 AD), 42; Del Sulla, 31; De Cicerone, 48; Dio C., 40, 48, 1 (see Prof. Michel, TDNT, vol. 7, p. 929).

 

Suicide

WE’RE ALL FAMILIAR with this one (but the Muslims don’t call it such, they say “blowing one’s self up” is being a martyr. This is the worst of stupidity—it is killing/murdering one’s self!).

Xenoph (430-354 BC) wrote about this in his Cyropaedia III, 1, 25 and VII, 3, 14.

Along these same lines we find Plutarchu’s “De Lucillo” mentioning it, 44. There are others, but I doubt my readers will check these authors out, so I’ll pass on to the Septuagint.

 

 The Septuagint

 (Old Testament Greek)

IN LXX σϕάζω (G4969) appears some 84 times (e.g.: 39 are found in Leviticus, 9 are in Ezekiel, 8 in Samuel, and 5 in Exodus; et al.). This word is rare indeed. Both the Greek and the Hebrew equivalents mean “to sever the neck” (like in bloody Islam!); “to slaughter” (like in bloody Islam!). In Arabic they mean “to cook” (like burning victims alive!). We know in Old Testament ritual usage these words mean just what I wrote, but it goes beyond sacrificial rituals into the profane expression/act. We must go from animal sacrifices unto human sacrifices.

On the negative we find in Ezekiel 16:17-21 the word “adulterous” Jerusalem, meaning she is accused (and rightly so!) of SLAUGHTERING her children to the idols she has made (see also Ezek. 23:39 and Isa. 57:5).

With the PROFANE slaying, or murdering of men we find the LXX word σϕάζω, which means: “violently and pitilessly to slaughter a man” (like in bloody Islam!). While it was true that God had the prophet Elijah to destroy God’s enemies (1 Kgs. 18:40), he did not act out of self-pride/hatred, but out of righteous indignation.

On the other side of the coin, the righteous are also butchered by God’s enemies. The wisdom poem ψ36:14 describes how the pagans bend their bows to slay the people of God. Also this same Greek Old Testament word can be used for massacre in war or civil strife. Much could be written here.

You may ask: “What is the difference between God’s Old Testament people taking revenge, going to war, etc., and what the Militant Muslims have been doing (ever since Muhammad’s day)? First, when God’s people went to war, it was ordered BY GOD, not by themselves. A good case-in-point is found in Lev. 18 where the inhabitants of the land (v. 25), who had committed vile abominations (such as sodomy/homosexuality, idolatry, rape, incest, adultery etc.), were to be driven out of the land. This was ordered by God. It was not done for greed or hatred.

When Muhammad took lives, it was to spread his vile and dark religion—Islam. It was to add to “his” personal kingdom: more wives, slaves, booty, land. All Islamic scholars (the honest ones) will tell us that Islam was spread by the SWORD, hence, The Blood of the Sword. Jesus, as already stated, started Christianity by The Blood of the Cross.

 

The Two Options

THERE IS NO DOUBT that the Qur’an contains its share of contradictions: Muhammad took Holy Scriptures and twisted them into a Christian/Islamic theme. Q 17:33 says: “And do not kill anyone whose killing Allah has forbidden, except for a just cause.” That sounds sane enough. But this contradicts dozens and dozens of other verses.

Ibn Hazm and al-Baydawi write: “The prophet Muhammad did not accept from the Arab heathens less than Islam or the sword. This is compulsion of faith. No compulsion in faith (religion) applies only to Christians or Jews because they are not to be forced to embrace the religion” [Vol. 8, pt. 11, p. 196].

Well, this has not always been the truth. Even in this hour, many Christians are presented with Islam…or DIE! We get reports from Africa (from ACMTC members) that many DIE, and some recant and embrace Islam. Hazm and Baydawi continue: “They have the option either to embrace Islam, the sword, or to pay the tax. In this case, they can keep their faith.” Even this is a LIE today!

The Imam al-Baydawi offers the same in his commentary (p. 58). At the end of this writing I present numerous verses that speak along there lines. These Qur’anic verses reveal to us both the militant terrorism, and hostile nature, of the Islamic mission, and of its founder—Muhammad.

 

HERE ARE THE TWO OPTIONS TODAY:

1—Embrace the “Christianized” Islam—the Politically Correct Islam of love/peace/forgiveness, the Islam that presents Islam in a good light (remember, Muhammad had the Christian Bible available in his day, so he formed a new religion);

2—Embrace the Islamic movement that embraces Islam according to the Qur’an, and the teachings of its bloody prophet. This is called Jihad—Holy War Islam.

Of a truth, Holy (really unholy) war was not and is not in harmony with other Qur’anic verses. In one place the Qur’an says Christians are the (good) people of the Book (Bible)…so be their friends (Q2:62; 3:113 -14).

Then we find Q9:29 where Christians must convert, pay tax, or be killed. The Qur’an said Muhammad was sent to show the mercy of Allah, but he became an insane Jihad dictator. In fact, Allah of Islam is not loving: he desires to lead people astray (Q6:39, 126). He does not help those who are led astray by him (Q30:29) and actually desires to use them to populate HELL (Q32:13).

One Imam (who became Christian) of a mosque in Giza, Egypt, says that: “the history of Islam, which was my special area of study, could only be characterized as a RIVER of BLOOD” (in 1991 this Imam was called a ‘Blasphemer and Bastard!’ (Shows lots of love doesn’t it?) Later he was thrown into prison, beat, and finally escaped (1994).

 

Core Beliefs of Islam

TO PUT IT SIMPLE, the mindset of Islam is “violence”!! The word “Islam” means “submission” (not “peace”); the word “Muslim” means “one who submits to Allah.” The Qur’an says: “O you who believe! obey Allah and obey the messenger (Muhammad) and those of you (Muslims) who are in authority” (Q4:59). THIS GREEK WORD is found in 1 Jn. 3:12 (once) and in Rev. 5:6, 9, 12; 13:8. First John 3:12 uses the word “slew” (Greek above) a strong term for Cain’s fratricide, analogous to the ancient use for the “murder” of brothers or relatives. Satan causes one to do such deeds: “…Cain , who was of that wicked one…” (v. 12). Verse 15 tells us that: “no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.”

The Bible distinguishes between different kinds of sins: unintentional sins (Lev. 4:2, 13, 22; 5:4-6), less serious sins (Matt. 5:19), deliberate sins (5:16, 17), and sins bringing spiritual death (5:16).

John the apostle emphasizes that there are certain sins that a true Christian will not commit because of Christ within (1 Jn. 2:11, 15, 16; 3:6-8, 10, 14, 15; 4:20; 5:2; 2 Jn. 9). These sins, dear reader, because of their gravity, and their origin in the very center of one’s spirit, indicate an intense rebellion against God. Much could be written here, but let’s go onward.

 

Slaughtered Lamb!

IN REV. 5:6, 9, 12; 13:8, Jesus is called “the slaughtered Lamb” in an established liturgical reference (the Passover lamb whose neck is cut). In a metaphorical sense, Jesus was slaughtered like a lamb (Paul calls Christ our “Passover” in 1 Cor. 5:7). In itself, “crucifixion” as distinct from “execution” by the sword, does not bear any close relation to “slaughtering,” so that theological interpretation, rather than the historical event, gives rise to the image of “the slaughtered Lamb.”

Also, Rev. 6:9 speaks of “martyrs” who were slain on account of God’s Word, and the witness they had. When a Muslim blows himself/herself up, this is “self-murder,” not Martyrdom. When a Christian dies at the hands of Muslims, they become a true martyr, which is compared to the “slaughtering” of sacrifices (σϕάζω).

The metaphor of “slaughtering” may be related more generally to war and murder (Rev. 18:24).

THIS SECOND Greek word also means “slaughtering” (ritual or profane) by cutting or slashing the throat (like in Bloody Islam!). There are dozens of Greek authors who wrote about this outside of the Bible.

The LXX uses this Greek word 23 times. Again, we find the word to mean “slaughter,” like in Zech. 11:4 which reads:

“Thus saith the LORD my God; Feed the flock of the slaughter.” In this connection the image of the “sheep for the slaughter” play a special role. Ps. 44:22 is one we’ve read so many times:

“We are counted as sheep for the slaughter.” The response to Zech. 11:4 was: “And I fed the flock of slaughter.”

This was the spirit (evil) behind Muhammad’s raids against the Arabs and caravans of the Jews (the Hadiths record these events). He would raid them, take the spoil and then separate the men/boys (of age) from the women and younger children, MURDERING ALL men, and boys of age, but sparing the women (in which he and his warriors raped). He took some of these young girls for his wives, others were sold into slavery. If you doubt this, read the accounts yourselves.

So, σϕάζω is used in reference to the separating of sheep for slaughter, from others which are kept for their wool (either for food or for wool, as the Babylonians did). In Israel, the sheep were used for temple sacrifices (in profane use, for cultic purposes).

This “sheep for slaughter” has, of course, various nuances; like in Jer. 11:19 where the lamb or ox “is to the slaughter” which denotes the unsuspecting nature of the prophet complaining about the attacks of his enemies in Anathoth.

The most famous Biblical account is, of course, Isaiah 53:7:

“He was oppressed, and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth: He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so He openeth not His mouth.”

We all know this was a prophecy of the coming Messiah/Savior Jesus Christ (read vv. 8, 9 also). Why was Christ slaughtered? Verse 6 begins and ends the poignant confession: “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on Him (Jesus) the iniquity of us all.” This says it all friends: our SINS, not His. Jesus accepted our sins in order to free us from SIN. Did Muhammad do this for the sinful world? NO! Even as I write, the church is in this very condition—doing its “OWN” things, not God’s. The people have “TURNED” every one to his/her OWN” WAY…on a self-centered course (derekh, H1870).

Jesus was submissive under His fate—the Cross! Of course Jesus the Christ KNEW His fate. He KNEW why He came to earth as a man, therefore, there was no need to complain/hate his enemies. JESUS WAS TOTALLY DIFFERENT FROM ISLAM’S PROPHET.

LET ME end this article with a plea to REPENT! The world and the church, is guilty before God Almighty. Take note of all of the evil about, the church’s backsliding helped create this.

James 5:5 is a depiction of this generation: “Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.” Verse 6 continues: “Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you.” The thought of the “rich” (we can be “rich” in many ways other than $$) preparing their DOOM by their own acts is continued (v. 6)…the sheer selfishness of the rich has culminated in MURDER (we can do this in many ways). Much could be said here, but I hope you connect the dots. While I write, America’s very own government is killing this nation by promoting GROSS SINS...one being homosexuality in all its vile, evil, and repulsive forms. And slowly-but-surely this nation is DYING—the rich getting richer, the poor getting poorer. Now we have the promotion of Islam in this nation: Christianity is marked as a terrorist organization—by the U.S. gov.—while Islam is being promoted in government. This in itself is EVIL. What next? the confiscation of Bibles?

It is time to REPENT!!

[4.141] ....If you have a victory [in Jihad] from Allah...

[8.15] ...when you meet those who disbelieve marching for war, then turn not your backs to them.

[8.48] ...when the two parties [Muslims versus Mekkans] came in sight of each other he [Satan] turned upon his heels...

[8.57] If thou come on them in the war, deal with them so as to strike fear in those who are behind them, that haply they may remember...When you are betrayed by a group of people, you shall mobilize against them in the same manner. GOD does not love the betrayers.

[8.59] State ...let not those who disbelieve think that they shall come in first; surely they will not escape.

[8.60] And prepare against them what force you can and horses tied at the frontier, to frighten thereby the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them, whom you do not know (but) Allah knows them; and whatever thing you will spend in Allah’s way [for Jihad]...

[8.65] O Prophet! urge the believers to war; if there are twenty patient ones of you they shall overcome two hundred, and if there are a hundred of you they shall overcome a thousand of those who disbelieve, because they are a people who do not understand [in other words, “do not understand totalitarian ideologies like Islam”].

[8.66] ...if there are a hundred patient ones of you they shall overcome two hundred, and if there are a thousand they shall overcome two thousand by Allah’s permission...

[8.67] It is not fit for a prophet that he should take captives unless he has fought and triumphed in the land; you desire the frail goods [i.e., ransom money] of this world...

[8.69] Eat then of the lawful and good (things) which you have acquired in war [war spoils]...

[8.71] ...But if they have treacherous designs against thee, (O Apostle!)...He [Allah] given (thee) power over them...

[33.27] ...He made you heirs to their [Jewish] land and their dwellings and their property, and (to) a land which you have not yet trodden...

[33.50] ...those [captive women] whom your right hand possesses [i.e., by virtue of the sword used in Jihad] out of those whom Allah has given to you as prisoners of war...

[42.39] ...and who, when an injury is done them, avenge themselves...

[47.4] ...when you meet in battle those who disbelieve, then smite the necks until when you have overcome them, then make (them) prisoners, and afterwards either set them free as a favor or let them ransom (themselves) until the war terminates...(as for) those who are slain in the way of Allah...

[47.35] ...Be not fainthearted then; and invite not the infidels to peace when ye have the upper hand: for God is with you, and will not defraud you of the recompense of your works.

[48.16] ...You shall soon be invited (to fight) against a people possessing mighty prowess; you will fight against them until they submit...

[48.17] ... whoso obeys Allah and His messenger [by going on Jihad], He will make him enter Gardens underneath which rivers flow; and whoso turns back [from Jihad], him will He punish with a painful doom.

[48.18] Certainly Allah was well pleased with the believers when they swore allegiance to you under the tree, and He knew what was in their hearts, so He sent down tranquility on them and rewarded them with a near victory...

[48.19] And much booty that they will capture. Allah is ever Mighty, Wise.

[48.20] Allah promised you many acquisitions which you will take, then He hastened on this one for you and held back the hands of men from you, and that it may be a sign for the believers and that He may guide you on a right path.

[48.21] ...And [he also promiseth you] other [spoils], which ye have not [yet] been able [to take]: But now hath God encompassed them [for you]; and God is almighty.

[48.22] And if those who disbelieve fight with you, they would certainly turn (their) backs, then they would not find any protector or a helper.

[48.23] Such [i.e., the Jihad mentioned in the previous verse] has been the course [practice] of Allah that has indeed run before, and you shall not find a change in Allah’s course.

[48.24] And He [Allah] it is Who held back.. .your hands from them [in Jihad] in the valley of Mecca...

[49.15] ...true believers...employ their substance and their persons in the defense of God’s true religion...

[59.2] ...the hands of the believers [i.e. Muslims demolished Jewish homes]...

[59.5] Whatsoever palm-trees you cut down or left standing on their roots [during a Jihad siege of the Jews at Medina], it was by Allah’s leave, in order that He might confound the evil-livers [Jews].[59.6] ...that which Allah gave as spoil unto His messenger from them, you urged not any horse or riding-camel for the sake thereof, but Allah gives His messenger lordship over whom He will...

[59.7] That which Allah gives as [war] spoil unto His messenger from the people of the townships [Jews], it is for Allah and His messenger...whatsoever [spoils] the messenger gives you, take it...

[59.8] ...who seek bounty [war spoils] from Allah...

[59.14] They will not fight against you in a body save in fortified towns or from behind walls...

[60.9] Allah only forbids you respecting those who made war upon you on account of (your) religion [no fraternizing with the enemy]...

[61.11] ...struggle hard in Allah’s way [Jihad] with your property and your lives...

[61.13] ...victory [in Jihad] near at hand...

[63.4] ...they think every cry to be against them. They are the enemy, therefore beware of them; may Allah destroy them, whence are they turned back? [This verse speaks of internecine Jihad against Muslims deemed infidels or “hypocrites.”]

[64.14] ...surely from among your wives and your children there is an enemy to you; therefore beware of them [collaborators with the enemy, especially if the women were once war spoils]...

[66.9] O Prophet! strive hard against the unbelievers and the hypocrites, and be hard against them.

 


 

Quran 9.123: “O ye who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are near to you, and let them find harshness in you, and know that Allah is with those who keep their duty (unto Him.)”


 

 

After reviewing these Qur’anic texts (read the full texts from their Qur’an itself), we can see that the ANIMOSITY comes not from American, Arabian, or Israeli (etc.) culture, it comes from THEIR UNHOLY BOOKS—THE QURAN AND THE HADITHS. This is the challenge: teach the Muslims that “their” books are hateful and teaching evil. Point them to the “Prince of Peace”—Jesus Christ the Lord (I’m not advocating any church or organization, just Jesus.

You must be BORN AGAIN (John, chapter 3). All “murderers” will not enter Heaven. Renounce Islam and find true, lasting peace and love. Pray for all those who fight for Allah (the anti-God god).
